I was picking out avocados when I saw someone I recognized.
Linda looked absolutely incredible.
We'd been neighbors for about five years. We're the same age, both have three kids, and had always bonded over the struggles of motherhood and keeping up with everything.
But she looked like a completely different person than the last time I'd seen her just a few months earlier.
Her skin was glowing, her waist was tiny, and honestly? She looked like she'd turned back the clock by ten years.
I felt a stab of jealousy. I almost walked away, but then our eyes met.
"Eleanor! How are you?"
We started chatting about our grandkids, but I couldn't stop staring. Finally, I couldn't help myself.
"Linda, I have to ask... you look incredible. I barely recognized you."
I started getting teary-eyed.
"Linda, I've been struggling so much. I feel invisible. I avoid mirrors, wear baggy clothes..."
She listened with such compassion and then smiled, holding up a thermos.
"It's my Skinny-Jean Tea. I learned about it in Costa Rica. Just ten seconds every morning, and I dropped three dress sizes."
That's when I really started crying.
Right there in the produce section. I was just so relieved that maybe, finally, there was hope.
She pulled out her phone and said, "I'll text you the video. Promise me you'll watch it?"
The link came through before I even got to checkout.
The next morning, I made my first cup. And something amazing happened - my usual 10 a.m. hunger simply never came.
That video changed my life. And I'm sharing it with you right here.
